On 15th October 2019, the BKS welcomed Asset Issekeshev, the Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Elbasy to a special roundtable breakfast chaired by Rupert Goodman and attended by British-Kazakh Society members and Directors, as well as HE Erlan Idrissov (Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UK), Lord Brennan QC, Lord Astor of Hever, Shyngys Kulzhanov, and other distinguished guests.
