Eurasian Business Conference

UCL Eurasian Business Society was founded 6 years ago as a collaboration of Russian-speaking students and young professionals in the United Kingdom, aiming at improving their knowledge and broadening career perspectives. UCL EBS was acknowledged by the Russian-speaking network of London for its annual Conference where leading businessmen, politicians, journalists and other well-known speakers from post-soviet countries share their experiences, opinions and advice with the audience. On average, every year it attracts more than 200 guests and is widely discussed by UK-based Russian mass media.

On 24th of November 2018, the Sixth Eurasian Business Conference took place. This year topic of the conference was “Current trends. How to keep up with the demands of the modern world and stay successful” and was aimed at increasing students’ awareness of the present business market. Lectures were given by Sergey Stanovkin (Head of BBC Advertising Regional Representative Offices), Roger Holland (Council Member of British-Kazakhs Society), and many other successful founders and executive officers of industry-leading organisations.
