About the event

The British Kazakh Society would like to extend a very warm welcome to you, your company and guests at our prestigious New Year Dinner in the House of Lords on Wednesday February 9th 2022, starting at 7pm. Please save the date in your diary today.

We are grateful to Lord Astor of Hever for being the formal host for the evening. We will also have several honoured VIP’s as Guests, including HE Kathy Leach Her Majesty’s Ambassador to Kazakhstan, HE Erlan Idrisov the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UK, plus Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, Her Majesty’s Trade Envoy. We will also have additional VIP’s, including Parliamentarians from both Houses and high=profile business leaders.

This great event will provide a unique opportunity to engage with business, government and NGO executives, with expert focus, wide knowledge and vast experience of Kazakhstan. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain valuable insights for how to develop relationships and business with this energetic and thriving nation of Central Asia moving forward into 2022, as well as obtaining a useful review of this year 2021.

Tickets for this elite event are bookable in tables of 10, or individually. Members of BKS are entitled to invite a guest, according to their membership status. As numbers are restricted, and we expect the evening to sell out quickly, we would be grateful if you would respond by the 15th of January 2022, by either making your application and payment online or by transferring the funds to our BKS account. Ticket prices are £150+VAT for BKS members and £200+VAT for non-members, or £2,000+VAT for a complete table (of 10 places) for BKS members and £2,500+VAT for non-members.

A formal invitation from our host Lord Astor will follow for those who confirm their attendance, but we do hope you will be able to join us on the evening of Wednesday February 9th 2022.

Yours sincerely

Rupert Goodman, Chairman, British-Kazakh Society
