On 13th June 2019, the BKS welcomed HE Michael Gifford, HM Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Honorary Joint President of BKS to a special roundtable breakfast chaired by Rupert Goodman and attended by British-Kazakh Society members and Directors, as well as HE Erlan Idrissov (Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the UK), Lord Woolf, Baroness Nicholson (PM’s Trade Envoy to Kazakhstan), Lord Astor,  Shyngys Kulzhanov, Judith Slater (HM Consul General and Trade Commissioner), and other distinguished guests.
