WELCOME FROM OUR CHAIRMAN
As Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society I have great pleasure in introducing you to our website. The Society was founded in 2002 to promote the best of relations between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan.
We are honoured to have as our Honorary Presidents HE Kathy Leach and HE Magzhan Ilyassov, This support indicates the importance that both nations attach to the work of the British-Kazakh Society and its role in developing the bilateral relationship.
As a Society with both corporate and individual members we have a full programme of events. We play an important role in highlighting trade and investment opportunities as well as promoting cooperation and understanding between government and industry at all levels. We also place great emphasis on establishing and maintaining cultural and educational exchange between our two countries.
On behalf of our Patron, our Honorary Presidents – the Ambassadors of Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom and the Society’s Council Members it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, 1926-2022

We deeply mourn the death of Her Majesty The Queen who led a remarkable life of duty, devotion and service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Royal Family.
Her Majesty was the longest serving monarch in our history and we give thanks for her extraordinary life and legacy.
