OUR FOUNDATION

The British-Kazakh Society was founded in 2002 to promote the best of relations between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan and to enhance the bilateral relationship.

The British-Kazakh Society is constituted as a not-for-profit legal entity with a Board of Trustees. We are delighted to have HE Sally Axworhy MBE, His Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Kazakhstan, and HE Magzhan Ilyassov, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom as our Honorary Presidents.

The British-Kazakh Society organised a major reception in St. James’s Palace in 2018 to mark our Society’s 15th Anniversary. Our 20th Anniversary has celebrated at an important dinner held in the House of Lords in 2022, where we hold our annual Dinner for Members and Partners.

We welcome new members, sponsors and partners to participate in the continuing growth of the British-Kazakh Society
