The British-Kazakh Society hopes that our members and friends are in good health, and coping in these difficult days. We want to alert you that the BKS continues to be active, albeit remotely, with weekly newsletters and regular webinars concerning developments in Kazakhstan. Please look on “recent events” and “forthcoming events” for previous and planned webinars.

As Chairman of the British-Kazakh Society I have great pleasure in introducing you to our website.  The Society was founded in 2002 to promote the best of relations between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan.

We are honoured to have as our patron, HE Nursultan Nazarbayev, The First President of Kazakhstan.  His support indicates the importance that both nations attach to the work of the British-Kazakh Society and its role in developing the bilateral relationship.

As a society with both corporate and individual members we have a full programme of events.  We play an important role in highlighting trade and investment opportunities as well as promoting cooperation and understanding between government and industry at all levels.  We also place great emphasis on establishing and maintaining cultural and educational exchange between our two countries.

On behalf of our Patron, our Honorary Presidents – the Ambassadors of Kazakhstan and the United Kingdom and the Society’s Council Members it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.
