The British-Kazakh Society in partnership with UK DIT hosted a webinar session chaired by David D Skeels (BKS).

 

Rupert Goodman, Chairman of the British Kazakh Society, made the introductory remarks and introduced the moderator. 

 

The topic of discussion was “An Introduction to Agri-Business in Kazakhstan”.

 

The webinar was moderated by Ross Murray (former President of the Country Land and Business Association, Chairman of Knight Frank’s Rural Asset Management, Farmer and Estate Trustee). The speakers were Timur Tilinin (Deputy Chairman, Kazakh Invest), Tatyana Blazhiyevich (Trade Officer, DIT, Nur-Sultan), Timur Ayapbergenov (CEO, The Development Fund of Agriculture), Kanat Yermekbaev (Crop Genetics, John Innes Centre (JIC), UK and Institute of Plant Biology and Biotechnology (IPBB), KZ), Maxim Izemsyev (Head, Russia and CIS for Milkrite), Maksut Bektibayev (Head, Meat Union of Kazakhstan).
