On behalf of the British Kazakh Society we extend our deepest sympathies to the people and Government of Kazakhstan following the devastating flooding in a number of regions of Kazakhstan. This is a natural disaster of significant magnitude caused by spring floods and snowmelt. We applaud the work of the emergency services and volunteers. Our thoughts are with all those affected at this difficult time.
