BKS Webinar: Kazakhstan - The Investment Climate and Recent Government Policy

The British-Kazakh Society hosted the Law Group webinar chaired by David Skeels (BKS, Director)

At this webinar, experts from different perspectives discussed how the recent tax changes in Kazakhstan would affect the business environment in the country. Panelists covered many important factors such as the government objectives behind the tax changes and tax code amendments. In particular, but not limited to, the experts and government representatives pointed out their views on how the mineral extraction tax and lifting of the dividend tax exemption would affect the business environment in Kazakhstan.
