The 'Era of Independence' written by HE President Nursultan Nazarbayev, Honorary Patron of the BKS was launched at a BKS special event held at Asia House. The speakers were HE Erlan Idrissov (Ambassador of Kazakhstan) and Rupert Goodman (Chairman of the BKS). The panel speakers were Igor Rogov (Deputy Executive Director of the Foundation of the First President), Baroness Sue Miller (Co-President of Parliamentarians for Nuclear Non-Proliferation and Disarmament), Raffaello Pantucci (Director of International Security Studies at the Royal United Services Institute, RUSI), Andre Singer (Director of 'Where The Wind Blew' documentary).
