About the event

The British-Kazakh Society is hosting a webinar on the topic of the development of British-Kazakh relations in the past 30+ years. David Skeels (BKS Director) will host the event, whereas Zhanar Seisebayeva (BKS Director) will moderate the event.

We will have experts such as the first Foreign Minister of the RoK - Toleutay Suleymanov, former British Ambassador to the RoK - Richard Lewington, the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities - Kairat Abdrakhmanov, and ex-British Ambassador to RoK - Paul Brummell.

Kairat Abdrakhmanov - Deputy Head of Mission - Minister-Counsellor, KZ Embassy in UK (2001-2003) and former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Currently the OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities

Paul Brummell - British Ambassador to Kazakhstan (2005-2009), Currently British Ambassador to Latvia

The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q&A session where you will have an opportunity to communicate directly with the speakers.

The event will be conducted in English with simultaneous Russian language interpretation available. The webinar is free of charge but you need to register for it.
