About the event

Join the Chief Justice of the AIFC Court, Lord Jonathan Mance to hear a discussion about the key aspects, current activities, and achievements of the AIFC Court. He will be joined by Bakhyt Tukulov, a member of the BKS Law Group, based in Astana. The speakers will give a general overview of how the AIFC Court is working to help shape the legal environment in Kazakhstan. The program will be introduced and moderated by Lord Dan Brennan, King’s Counsel since 1985 and current member of the House of Lords.

The panel discussion will be followed by a live Q&A session where you will have an opportunity to communicate directly with the speakers.

The event will be taking place in English with Simultaneous Russian language translations available as well.

This is the first in a series of events to be hosted by the BKS Law Group, a section of the British Kazakh Society, supporting the promotion of relations between the United Kingdom and Kazakhstan. The BKS Law Group, chaired by Mark Beer,  and it has a particular focus on the legal and justice sectors and acting as the focal point for the British-Kazakh Society and its members in legal and judicial matters.
