The British-Kazakh Society’s Oil, Gas, and Renewables Group hosted a webinar looking at Energy Security and Source Diversity in the Caspian Region. The event was chaired by David Skeels (BKS, Director).

The webinar was moderated by BKS Oil, Gas, and Renewables group member and Vice-President of InterGazStroy JSC - Rustam Kuanshaliyev.

Chairman of the Management Board of QazaqGaz - Sanzhar Zharkeshov - was the first speaker in the session and he spoke generally about the Kazakhstan's market for gas. After that, our speakers had 2 main topics of discussion: 1) power projects and storage of gas in Kazakhstan and other parts of central Asia, 2) export of gas from Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan via the Caspian region.
