The British-Kazakh Society (BKS), in collaboration with Grant Thornton, successfully hosted an in-person panel discussion and networking event in London on 26 March 2026. The event brought together BKS Members and Partners, alongside Grant Thornton’s clients and partners, for an in-depth discussion on fraud and asset recovery across Kazakhstan, Central Asia, and the wider CIS region.

The session featured a panel of experienced practitioners who shared practical insights drawn from their work on complex cross-border cases. The discussion was tailored to an audience of in-house and external counsel, corporate executives, and fraud and asset recovery specialists with a professional interest in the region.

The formal discussion was followed by a networking reception, providing attendees with an opportunity to continue conversations, exchange expertise, and strengthen professional connections within the BKS and Grant Thornton networks.
