16 Apr 2026
The British-Kazakh Society, in partnership with GRATA International, successfully hosted an in-person seminar in Astana on 16 April 2026 at the AIFC, followed by a networking session for participants.
The roundtable seminar focused on key legal and regulatory challenges affecting subsoil users and foreign investors in Kazakhstan, with particular attention to land law considerations, dispute risks, and practical aspects of operating within the local legal framework. The session was led by Gani Sagimbekov, a litigation and land law specialist from GRATA International, who shared valuable insights drawn from his experience advising on complex land-related matters.
The event brought together professionals from the legal and business communities, providing a platform for both knowledge exchange and networking. The seminar was very well received by attendees.
The British-Kazakh Society extends its sincere gratitude to GRATA International for acting as the main sponsor of the event, and to Zaira Sarsenova, BKS Kazakhstan Representative, for kindly hosting the seminar.
