20 Jan 2026
As part of the BKS Kazakhstan Week Programme, the British-Kazakh Society hosted a seminar discussion titled “Strategic Horizons: Doing Business with Kazakhstan in Shifting Political Times”, kindly hosted by Squire Patton Boggs.
The seminar brought together business leaders, legal experts, policymakers, and members of the BKS community to explore the evolving political and economic landscape affecting Kazakhstan and the wider region. Discussions focused on geopolitical shifts, regulatory developments, and emerging opportunities for international businesses operating in or engaging with Kazakhstan. Speakers highlighted the importance of strategic adaptability, legal foresight, and strong international partnerships in navigating periods of political change.
Following the formal discussion, guests took part in a networking session, providing an opportunity for meaningful exchanges, knowledge-sharing, and the strengthening of professional connections between UK and Kazakhstan-focused stakeholders. The British-Kazakh Society extends its sincere thanks to Squire Patton Boggs for hosting the event and to all participants for contributing to a thoughtful and engaging dialogue.
