KP Disputes releases Kazakhstan’s first practical guide on tax disputes with interactive content

6 Nov 2025

KP Disputes has unveiled a unique publication “Tax Disputes: A Judicial Practice Guide. Part 1. Effective Application of the Administrative Procedural Code” — the first handbook in Kazakhstan that combines judicial practice and procedural tools with online resources and regularly updated materials.

Through QR codes, readers gain access to additional resources, including:
judicial practice and regulatory acts (over 330 documents),
samples of procedural documents,
official clarifications from state authorities,
articles, and educational video materials prepared by KP Disputes team.

The authors emphasize that the purpose of the project is to improve the quality of legal practice and strengthen the professional culture of tax litigation in Kazakhstan. The guide serves as a hands-on tool enabling lawyers and consultants to navigate court practice more efficiently and apply procedural rules more effectively.

The KP Disputes team is already working on the next volumes in the series, which will cover topics such as international taxation, transfer pricing, the Multilateral Instrument (MLI), royalties, dividends, and other categories of disputes.

“The guide provides a clear and structured overview of procedural instruments. It is written from a practitioner’s, rather than a purely theoretical, perspective — which makes it particularly valuable,” noted participants of the presentation.

“The interactive format and QR-linked materials make the guide a living source of knowledge, rather than merely a printed publication.”
