Second Central Asian Research Forum on Sustainable Development and Innovation, UK

The BKS was delighted to support the Central Asian Research Forum webinar sessions from 10th to 20th April and organised by the Kazakhstan PhD Association UK (BKS Research Committee).

 

The keynote speakers at the plenary session included Rupert Goodman (Chairman, BKS), HE Erlan Idrissov (Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UK), Prof Alexander Van de Putte (BCPD, AIFC), Prof Steve Rothberg (Pro Vice Chancellor (Research), Loughborough University), Sergey Stanovkin (BBC, Head of Advertising Regional Offices in Eurasia) Farkhad Kuanganov (Elbasy Academy) and others. David Hardy (BKS Education Committee) spoke at one of the sessions. 

The chairs of the forum were Aliya Sembayeva, Gani Bekenov, Khalida Azhigulova and Alfiya Wright. 

 

Young scientists presented their scientific projects aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the entire Central Asian region. The forum included partners from government, business and non-profit organisations which support sustainable development. These included The Foundation of the First President, the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the UK, United Nations Information Office in Kazakhstan, BCPD AIFC, Loughborough University, and Eurasian Technological University.
